The Icom IC-Δ1A is three transceivers in a single body and the first tri-band handheld in the world. Enjoy operation on 144 MHz, 440 MHz and the 1200 MHz band. Three bands can be received simultaneously and the large display shows the three operating frequencies, S-meters, selected memory numbers and there are three tuning knobs and three volume controls. Cross band, double duplex operation is now possible as well as conventional cross band operation. Each band has a four levels of digital squelch and each memory channels stores a squelch setting. During normal operation, audio from all three bands is mixed and sent to the internal speaker. When using an external speaker, the desired band can be output from a selected speaker. You get 78 memories (26 per band), built DTMF encode/decode and 4 DTMF memories. Four levels of power output are available on 2 meters and 70 cm: 5, 3.5, 1.5, 0.5 watts and two levels at 1.2 GHz: 1, 0.2 watts.
