The Icom IC-RX7 is a slim and smart wideband receiver that tunes from 150 kHz to 1300 MHz (less cellular and gaps) in these modes: AM, FM Narrow and FM wide. It features a large, backlit LCD display plus a nice keypad. It is rain resistant to equivalent IPX4 standard. CTCSS and DTSC decode is built in. Other features include: keypad, RF Gain, Attenuator, Auto Power save and voice squelch control. A built-in ferrite rod antenna provides good medium wave [AM] reception.

A total of 1650 scannable alpha-numeric memories are available. An independent Search button automatically searches preprogrammed frequency ranges. Many sophisticated forms of scanning are supported.

The IC-RX7 comes with the BP-224 Lithium battery, MB-112G belt clip and BC-149A charger.

The RX7-10 model was the same as above, but without the cellular gaps and could be purchased via government or qualifying commercial customers or for export only. This government model is not available for online ordering.
