I have one, a very good radio. Would like to know the year range.

Best rig I ever owned.
Pity it was hot...matt collected it on a dark stormy night in the valley... Should have given that one a miss. Did a few years for that one.
Kenwood TS 450 is is wonderful rig, with the help of inbuilt tuner I am working all bands with my inverted VEE 20 and 40 meter single feeder antenna. de vu2ob
clean receiver,
unfortunately, no DSP integrates, for it, however, really filter.
To procure hard accessories, but with a little know how to build themselves.
I have owned my TS-450S/AT for about six months and thoroughly enjoy it. It has the SSB and CW filter options. The ATU tunes very fast and has a pretty good range although it doesn't tune anything that is 4:1 or higher. Audio is clear and clean and CW operation is really a pleasure.
This is a "keeper" class of radio, excellent as a back-up rig or spare. No menus to deal with and get lost, pleasant display. If you find a nice one for sale, it's well worth having. It is a cut above the great TS-440 which is still in demand.
