The SWAN SS series came in (3) three versions; 15w, 100w, & 200w PEP. They were the FIRST solid-state radios presented to the amateur, and are seen for the first time around 1975. Current draw was about 250ma on receive (the dial lamp drew more than the radio!), and on full-power key-down for the 200A, about 20 amperes. The receiver was VERY sensitive, better than .1uv, and tuning the preselector to other dial-segments OTHER than the PROPER one, provided almost a general coverage receiver.
