The Hammarlund HQ-170 amateur band receiver tunes only the amateur bands: 1.8-2, 3.5-4, 7-7.3, 14-14.4, 21-21.6, 28-30 and 50-54 MHz. This radio does not have a built in speaker. The HQ-170 was followed by the HQ-170A, HQ-170AC and HQ-170C.
