High performance HF + 6 meter transceiver, introduced at the 2013 Dayton Hamvention. The rig has a 32-bit high speed floating point DSP unit. A 4.3-in TFT color display provides the operator with loads of information.

The optional SCU-17 USB-interface unit adds support for CAT, USB-Audio in/out, TX control (PTT, Key, Shift) and firmware update functions.

The Receiver is so good. you could alligator clip this thing to your gutters and it will pick out audio better than a 746PRO using a beam 40' up. its beautiful, sophisticated, intuitive, well made.... You can tell the engineers poured their heart and soul into this, as i am sure they designed as something themselves really wanted to use! and could afford! -- You can't go wrong with this.
