I love this radio, they can be found used real reasonable. They work great, but I would suggest getting the RT Systems programing software, as it runs circles around the stock software. also you need a well tuned antenna, as the high SWR circuit functions well, if the SWR is high it will shut down the TX in a hurry. over all it is a great radio, I run one in my Subaru, and one in my semi truck
