Youkits SK-1A reviews

Very handy rig

w3fis

Very handy rig with CW/SSB, so I can "change horses in mid-stream," depending on band conditions. Good for portable work. Blows their mind when you admit to running only 5 watts. After a 1/2 hour QSO yesterday, definitely detected slight drift -- maybe 100 Hz, more or less, which is within what you might expect 20 PPM with a DSS. Quite acceptable. Good audio reports, easy to use. Best part for me is that you can load memories with "watering holes,' then with one button press, load that value into the VFO to tune around that point. Saves a lot of dial twiddling.
