Shortwave Listener and amateur radio operator.
My late uncle was a radio technician who maintained the local air-radio stations during WW2 into the late 1950`s. He purchased a Kurer Transi SW radio for my grandmother which she passed onto me., My first SW portable prior to this I only had a Pye valve radio out of a Radiogram. The next one was a Barlow Wadley XCR-30 and so the hobby progressed .
