Scanner nieuw gekocht in 1992, ontvangst van allerlei frequenties is meer dan goed, zelfs met de bijbehorende antenne.

Sound squelch feature ,scanner doesn't stop on silent carriers,
Mains adapter built in,
Bad point,poor quality controls,volume control became noisy/scratchy after a years careful use.

The PRO-2006 was the first receiver I acquired, for only EUR 15 on a yard sale. I didn't even really know anything about hamming at the time. But the PRO-2006 got me hooked right away.

What I like:
- easy to use
- large memory (400 chn)

What I don't like:
- no rotating knob to change frequency
- no alpha tags
- sensitivity not great

I can recommend this receiver to anyone who wants to get started with our hobby, or as a second (standby) receiver.

One more thing: the PRO-2006 uses a 9V battery cell for memory backup. When you buy this scanner, make sure you check if the previous owner didn't leave an old, leaky battery in the rig.
