The Yaesu FT-416 is a handheld VHF transceiver. It covers 140-174 MHz for reception and transmits on 144-146 MHz (Europe) or 144-148 MHz (USA). RF output power is selectable: High: 5 W, Low 3: 3 W, Low 2: 1.5 W, Low 1: 0.5 W. It has 1 memory bank with 41 channels and requires 5.5-16V DC. Dimensions are 146 × 55 × 33 mm and it weighs 430 gr with FNB-27 battery. Current drain is 8-190 mA while receiving and a maximum of 1.6 A while transmitting.
