Nice little handheld.

Yupiteru MVT-3300, Handheld VHF/UHF Scanner / receiver

Always enjoyed this device. Good reception and clarity. The control options are a bit clunky to navigate but very well equipped. Feels a little like a brick by today's standards, but at least you know you're holding it!

Overall, good device for a beginner or someone who wants it for light use.
