The Sony ICF-SC1 Wavehawk is a capable scanner covering 25 to 1300 MHz (less cellular) in AM, FM-N and FM-W modes. It has 300 memory channels. The Intelligent Active Memory System memorizes a frequency which has been received for five seconds or longer. Other features include: backlit LCD, key lock and skip function. Scanning modes include: Band Scanning, Programmable Scanning, Memory Scanning, Intelligent Memory Scanning and Priority Scanning. The controls are easy to use and you also get one button access to public service categories (police, fire emergency, VHF air, UHF air, marine, FM broadcast, VHF TV sound and UHF TV sound).
The Sony ICF-SC1 is similar to the Sony ICF-SC1 PC, but doesn't have the PC interface support.
