The ICOM IC-2500E is a mobile dual-band UHF transceiver. It covers 430-440 / 1240-1300 MHz for both transmit and receive. The receiver system uses double (70cm) / triple (23cm) conversion superheterodyne with IF frequencies of 70cm: 1st: 30.875 MHz, 2nd: 455 kHz and 23cm: 1st: 136.6 MHz, 2nd: 17.2 MHz, 3rd: 455 kHz. RF output is selectable between High (35/10 W) and Low (5/1 W). It features 1 memory bank with 40 channels. Power requirements are 13.8V DC ±15%. The IC-2500E weighs 1.8 kg and has dimensions of 50 × 150 × 195 mm. Current drain is 1-1.4 A (RX) and 4-10.5 A (TX). Features include AFC and Twin RX.
