Good Amateur band receiver

Kenwood JR-500SE, Desktop Shortwave receiver

Good receiver if you only want amateur (ham) band coverage. Not a general coverage unit, but is a great number for the bands. Stable after warmup with no drift. RF amp tube replaced with 6EH7 which increased the gain of the front end.
