The Galaxy SSB Echo is a transceiver with a frequency range of 26,065-28,305 MHz for both receive and transmit. It features a PLL-synthesizer with ± 0.003% frequency stability and channelized tuning steps. The IF frequencies are 1st: 10.695 kHz and 2nd: 455 kHz with ≥ 50 dB image rejection. RF output power is 10 W for CW/AM/FM and 21 W for SSB. Audio output is 3 W @ 10 THD into 8 Ohms. It includes a SWR / Power meter, Roger beep, Echo, AGC, and Noise blanker. The radio has 1 memory bank with 3000 channels and requires mains power. Current drain during transmit is 90 W max.
