The Alinco DJ-V47E is a handheld UHF transceiver. It covers 410-470 MHz for reception and 430-440 MHz for transmission (Europe). The receiver system is a double conversion superheterodyne with IF frequencies of 1st: 38.85 MHz and 2nd: 450 KHz. RF output is selectable between High: 5 W (@ 13.8 VDC) and Low: 0.8 W. It features 1 memory bank with 200 channels, CTCSS, and is submersible. Dimensions are 110 × 58 × 36 mm. The radio weighs 280 gr with antenna and EBP-65 battery pack. Current drain in receive mode is 25-250 mA and max 1.4 A in transmit. Power requirements are 7.2V DC (EBP-65 Ni-MH pack) or 7-16V DC external.
