RF output power is selectable between High: 5/5/4.5 W, Low3: 2.5/2.5/2.5 W, Low2: 1/1/1 W, and Low1: 0.3/0.3/0.3 W. The VX-5R operates on 7.2V DC (internal) or 13.8V DC (external).
