The Uniden Bearcat BC-855XLT is a 50 (5 x 10) channel base scanner that covers VHF Low Band, Aircraft, VHF High Band, UHF and the 800 MHz public service band. The Priority channel is checked every two seconds. Channel Lockout allows you to skip channels you don't want to hear. The Weather scan feature gives you instant access to your local NOAA weather station. Programming is easy. Just key in the desired frequency. Scanning is at 5 or 15 channels per second. The LCD display is backlit.
