The Baofeng UV-5R Pro is a triple-band FM transceiver. It covers 65-108 / 136-174 / 200-260 / 400-520 MHz for reception and 136-174 / 200-260 / 400-520 MHz for transmission. The frequency stability is ± 2.5 p.p.m. Tuning steps are selectable from 2.5, 5, 6.25, 10, 12.5 and 25 kHz. Image rejection is 65/60 dB. RF output power is switchable between 1 and 8 W. Audio output is 1 W. It features 1 memory bank with 128 channels. The radio operates on a 7.4 V DC Li-ion battery, 1800 mAh. Current drain in receive mode is 380 mA max and ≤ 75 mA in standby. In transmit mode, current drain is 1.4 A max. Dimensions are 112 × 60 × 35 mm excl. antenna. The Baofeng UV-5R Pro features CTCSS/PL + DCS, DTMF, VOX, LED flashlight, Roger beep and PC programmability.
