The Icom IC-7410 is the successor to the ICOM IC-7400 and ICOM IC-746 Pro providing professional performance in the 160 to 6 meter amateur bands. This HF rig employs the same high grade DSP unit and double conversion super-heterodyne system developed from the latest technology used in the IC-7600, IC-7700 and IC-7800 series. It features a 15kHz roofing filter. In addition, when used with the optional FL-430 and FL-431 filters, narrow mode signals are protected from adjacent inband signals. The 3kHz first IF filter is especially effective in the CW and SSB modes. It utilizes Icom's proven IF-DSP technology. Like the IC-746Pro, it features a sharp black and white LCD. In fact, the IC-7410 display is actually 10mm wider than the ICOM IC-746 Pro display. It features a superior general coverage receiver covering 30 kHz to 60 MHz with +30dbm 3rd order intercept point receive performance and ±0.5 p.p.m. stability. There is a built-in bandscope function, and Baudot RTTY capability. Other refinements include: ±9.999 kHz RIT, BPF, quick split function, band edge beep and CW keyer (6-48 WPM). A large chassis heatsink is employed. There is a built-in tuner. Power is 100 watts. There are both CI-V and USB ports on the rear panel. Original price in 2010: USD 1995.00.
