Dual band, dual frequency display handheld transceiver.
Like other Chinese handhelds similar to this radio, they are quite popular given their performance and low price, making them the ideal entry-level transceiver for new Hams.
What sets this radio apart from other Chinese handhelds, is that there are a number of firmware upgrades that can be performed to unlock extended receiving capabilities, including SSB.
